Our theme for camp this year is Word of God Speak. We will be exploring the great teachings of the Bible through some well known and significant passages of scripture. Who is God? What is this business of sin all about? What is the significance of grace? How are we to understand the Bible? What is the church and does it matter? These are some key questions for our week. It’s going to be awesome so don’t miss out!
SOME BASICS
Arrival: First, you can begin arriving at 3:00pm. When you get to camp on Saturday afternoon, check in at the registration desk. The balance of your camp fee (if a balance is due) will be collected and your cabin will be assigned to you. Go to your cabin, select a bunk, and unpack. The first meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. The last meal will be breakfast the following Saturday.
Health: A Registered Nurse will be in attendance throughout the duration of camp. Emergency services in the nearby towns of Greenville and Chester will be utilized if necessary. Each camper is covered by a health and accident policy to cover costs of those emergency services not covered in the camper’s own family insurance policy. All recreation is supervised and every attempt will be made to maintain adequate safeguards to health and safety.
*All Campers will be expected to obey health and saftey rules.
*Any camper who endangers themselves or others will be sent home.
Canteen and Crafts: We suggest that you bring $25 or $30 with you to spend at the canteen and crafts center. Those wishing to participate in crafts will be charged according to the amount of materials used, usually about $8 or $10 for the week.
Musical Instruments: Musical instruments (not amplified) may be brought to camp. A place will be provided in the office for their safe keeping if requested by the camper.
